Utility

The Ram 1500′s are the only truck’s in their class to offer the RamBox, with integrated, lockable storage boxes on each side of the bed that can hold up to 240 12-ounce beverage cans. The optional RamBox is the perfect tool box for all your needs and if you’re going out to Jefferson Park Golf Course for a quick nine-hole afternoon, the RamBox is perfect for storing your golf clubs and accessories.

Performance

The Dodge Ram boasts a more powerful 390-horsepower, 5.7-liter V-8, compared to the F150’s 310-horsepower, 5.4-liter V8.  The numbers speak for themselves. For those of you who need the power of a true pick-up, the Dodge RAM 1500 is your truck.

  • Multi-Displacement System (MDS) seamlessly deactivates half of the engine’s cylinders in fuel saver mode when less power is needed.
  • Variable Valve Timing (VVT) delivers increased torque and efficiency.
  • Stronger hemispherical cylinder heads produce more power, while a short runner valve active intake manifold increases fuel efficiency.

Technology

Both the F-150 and Ram 1500 are loaded with identical standard and available technology, but the Ram offers:

  • Precise ergonomics
  • Power lumbar
  • Heated steering wheel
  • Full power seats with memory
  • Power-adjustable pedals
  • Heated rear seats
  • Power-sliding rear window

the F-150 does not.

Safety

Both trucks are loaded with standard safety features and five star safety ratings but the Ram 1500 offers more protection.  The Ram 1500 features trailer-sway control, hill start assist and brake assist systems that the F-150 just can’t match.
